Why your favorite hybrid athlete is likely deceiving you. At 185 lbs (yes not HUGE), I’ve run 1:54 in the 800 and 4:29 in the mile. I still lift 3x/week. Still try to persevere as much muscle/strength while attempting to really lower those running numbers in the coming months.
