Really good thread. On Friday afternoon my teaching was disturbed 10 times over 2 hours. Teachers popping in to speak to students, students asking for resources, students brought to me because of behaviour. How much learning do you think actually happened in my classes?

Being a school leader is about being a presence for kids & staff, walking corridors lots, being on duty, providing support & leadership, dealing with issues, providing strategy - which is not all the time as so much is managing the day-to-day. Itโ€™s physically demanding.
