Yesterday we celebrated the Green Spaces Movement with a fabulous event at RHS Bridgewater 💚🌿 It was a beautiful, sunny afternoon and a great opportunity for green groups around Salford to get together, network and share knowledge. #GreenSpacesFund GM Green City

Yesterday, our resident bird expert, Hannah, led a fantastic identification workshop at Whitworth Park🦜🪶 The group took a stroll and got to grips with the basics, spotting a variety of birds including jays, parakeets and a long tailed tit! Thanks to everyone who joined us✨

A great new piece highlighting urban green spaces as integral components of sustainable new builds in UK cities. Some good examples of what is already being done by partners across our city and beyond to integrate green space into urban planning practice.
