The most important decision I made this morning was to “TRY”... to sit down and apply myself to my goals until they’re achieved. I won’t be distracted by drama, stressed out by factors outside of my control or say yes to anything that doesn’t serve my future. Can’t afford it.

No matter how much you try, you can’t force what’s not for you to make you happy.

We have to stop living by codes that don’t advance us towards our goals.

I don’t use the words accountability, transparency, or advocacy lightly... because really what I’m talking about is giving voice to the voiceless, creating space for the often overlooked and giving hope to those who are growing tired of fighting for what’s right.

That girl I was 10 years old, 5 years ago, 2 years ago, 12 months ago.... yeah, she and me are not the same.

Whether it feels this way all the time or not, you are seen, you are valued and people desire to connect with you. Your presence is felt and your words matter. You matter and you are loved!

I’m at a place in my life where seeing my friends level up is so satisfying and inspirational I could cry. Seeing the people I love and value overcome their circumstances… it gets me every time!!! I’m just happy I get to witness it all. #ButMaybeImDifferent

I love protecting my peace. I love enforcing boundaries. I love saying no thank you to stress. I love giving myself permission to show grace to myself. I used to think prioritizing ease was selfish but I was wrong. I deserve good things.

To everyone who understands what it means to walk in favor, let me encourage you. Some people make it their personal mission to discredit you, to make others doubt you or to derail your momentum. But let me assure you, what God has for you is yours. Stay focused and keep shining!

Can we talk about how scary the word “TRY” can be? This 3 letter word commands more in a single thought than most of us require from ourselves in a day. Being vulnerable to take risks in front of people is not easy even when it’s worth it. But maybe it’s just me.

Some of my favorite days are the ones where I choose not to take my bad mood home with me. Today, I was feeling down and decided I needed to take myself on a date & dare I say, I feel much better. #BeingGentleWithMe
