It’s great to see a very busy domestic terminal. There’s something about the frenetic nature and f those large numbers of bodies that hints at vibrant economic outcomes. BUT there’s a fine line between energizing busy and chaos. ORT is organizational chaos at the best of times

In Gqeberha airport there’s a scanner machine (1 of 3) as you check hand luggage in and do body search that hasn’t worked for at least 2 years (I suspect it’s longer). It doesn’t look like there’s any attempt to fix it. A friend once asked why - the response - “awulungiseki”. 🥵
