Our pupils and Mrs Emeny met the Mayor of London today at Elmhurst Gardens and talked about air pollution and the Breathe London air quality monitor. We hope air quality in the area can be improved

Year 3 have had a wonderful first day. They have all chosen a reading book, had a tour of the school and experienced their first lessons. Well done to all our new pupils.

Mr Warmoth has been sharing our love of reading with other schools in Redbridge today to help them to promote a love of reading in their schools too.

Year 4 have been baking bread this week. They have been taught the function of each ingredient and they all baked beautiful (and tasty!) plaited rolls. 🍞

To mark the Coronation we have planted the native wildflower seeds from Department for Education Nick Gibb and Eden Project. We hope to see them attracting insects, bees and birds when they grow on the wildflower bank outside Year 5 and the picnic area soon.

Year 3 and 4 had a wonderful Sports Day on Friday. Beneath the warm sun, all children showed determination, enthusiasm and encouragement towards others. Well done! Thank you to all the parents and carers who were able to come along and support the children.

Every computing topic is themed around a future career in computing. This half term, Year 5 are learning how to be architects. They have started constructing 3D art galleries to display their own digital art.

Had the most brilliant day with SW100 at Angel Oak Academy, a complete sea of calm. Every classroom, every single kid was thinking so hard all of the time. Meanwhile West100 were equally inspired at Churchfields Junior School & Yorks100 were treated to visiting Elmhurst Primary School!
