Christian Meyer Christian Meyer and myself in plea not to delay support for macroeconomic reform and stabilisation in Ethiopia by IMF, WB or EU. Accountability matters but give it the time required. Don’t delay support beyond humanitarian, or peace/stability may be hard to maintain.


Few thought this possible 3 months ago, but it needs others to gamble on peace too. Christian Meyer and I think that one way of doing this is to ensure that the Ethiopian macroeconomy is stabilised, with IMF, WB, US, UK, EU support and G20 DSSI debt relief. 2/2 x.com/ForeignPolicy/…
