The Chaldean People mourn the passing of Bishop Thabet Al-Mekko, Chaldean Bishop of Alqosh, Iraq. Bishop Al-Mekko was an inspirational leader who helped guide Chaldeans after the 2014 ISIS takeover of our towns in Nineveh Plains. We will greatly miss him! RIP, Bishop! 🙏🏼✝️

POSO: Every Middle East War ends with Christians slaughtered, by one side or the other. All these areas used to be Christian, they’re all slaughtered, and you say, ‘Oh, we pray for them,’ or you could maybe not start a war and get them all killed
