So a (very) rough count suggests I've written about 750 comics. Which makes sense. One a week for 20 years with 2 weeks off a year would be 1000, but I've also written TV, video games and other stuff, so 750 sounds about right. These are the first (2004) and the latest (2024).

Telling my cat, who has been wailing for food for the past hour while I try to work, that he is making me very sad has not worked. I have resorted to putting him in the Shame Basket (which I just christened with that name) in the hopes that humiliation will prove more effective.

Here's the gameplay trailer for the BATMAN: ARKHAM SHADOW VR game I wrote for earlier this year. I think those of you with the VR system will have a blast...and they STILL haven't revealed what I personally think is the COOLEST thing about it! youtube.com/watch?v=dadLtf…

1977. I was 6. Made my Mom take me out of the theater before it happened. (I knew what was coming from watching the 1930s version on TV.)

I don't think there has ever been a movie or TV scene which used "This Woman's Work" and rose to the level of the song, including the movie it was originally given to...until #OurFlagMeansDeath . youtube.com/watch?v=M6v9IR…

What happened with the Bermuda Triangle is, the aliens were like, seriously, y’all, we’re being lazy. They’re getting wise. Spread out, kill some billionaires with waterspouts, make a deal with the orcas. Get creative. And hey, does it have to be a triangle? Maybe a trapezoid?

You think immigrants are taking your jobs and driving down your wages? More likely it's incarcerated inmates, who don't have much say in the matter.

Thank you! Fun fact: Chris Evans AND the Russo Brothers were influenced by the game's fighting style when planning the fighting in the Winter Soldier movie. And stunt legends Phil Silvera & Chris Brewster came from that film to the Daredevil TV show! The circle of Marvel life.

Awful to hear that Bernie Mireault is lost to us by taking his own life. The comics industry seems to have a disproportionate amount of this kind of thing. At a time when there seems to be a push to eliminate creativity and the people who have it, please take care of each other.

I read superhero comics before this, picking up issues here and there if they caught my eye. But this was the week I started collecting them. ASM and Cap. Didn’t miss an issue after that until the original numbering ended and I decided I didn’t need *everything.*

So long, Cass. Ruth and I will miss the hell out of you. We’re losing way too many of the good ones, and the bad ones just thrive. This isn’t just the worst timeline, it’s the Dark Multiverse.

Mr. Jeff Trammell has been the ideal creative partner on this miniseries, and he and his team have crafted an amazing show that I think you’ll love! Do not miss it! (I’m also a big fan of his choice of supporting characters!)
