Today we estimated how many of a certain color of vehicle we would see passing by on our street and then kept talkies for the color we were collecting. We decided that a lot of people sure like white cars! Marion School

In honor of National Indigenous Peoples Day and summer solstice, Room 14 participated in making an art piece for our collaborate school Bricks of Belonging project, made friendship beaded bracelets, various art pieces, and played Manito Ahbee Aki world in Minecraft. Marion School

Yesterday the students at Marion walked the neighborhood to help Terry finish his journey 42 years after he started. The 2/3’s made posters to show our community the importance of our walk.

It’s so great seeing these little mathematicians learn some new math routines. First time using our vertical surfaces and they did amazing communicating their thinking with each other.

Last week the K-3 classes spent the day at Birds Hill Park engrossed in authentic land based learning. The most perfect experience and weather to accompany our learning. Lisa McAvoy
