Abundance is YIMBY-coded essential reading 🏗️ It is a solid attempt to convince the left of supply side economics. To prosper, we must be a nation of builders... not blockers. #nswpol #auspol #abundance #YIMBY

The NSW Opposition is pro-housing, pro-reform and wants to see fast delivery of desperately needed new homes in NSW. We’ll therefore be as constructive as possible in dealing with the Government’s planning law reforms introduced in Parliament today.

You know things are bad when even the Greens turn on Labor! This is the least transparent government since Jack Lang 😶‍🌫️ #nswpol

The Committee for Sydney, Business Sydney, UDIA, Sydney YIMBY, Urban Taskforce Australia (UTA) support the our Long Bay housing proposal. In Question Time Michael Daley couldn’t find anyone outside the Labor Party to back in his NIMBY objection to more housing in his electorate.

The NSW Opposition will engage constructively on planning law reform. However the Government must also address the biggest hurdle to new homes: it’s not profitable for builders to build and that’s made much worse by record taxes and charges on new homes, Australia’s highest.

Free trade > protectionism. Always and everywhere. Human history shows that. The Liberal Party must never give in to the economic fallacy that we would be better off with tariffs and subsidies, rather than being globally competitive. #nswpol #auspol

“But if the Liberal Party is now against free markets and smaller government, then why would anyone vote Liberal? Middle Australia is increasingly socially progressive but economically anxious. They don’t find the culture wars personally relevant either in terms of reflecting

Shocking statement by the Premier today that patients may be turned away from hospital emergency departments because of failed negotiations with Federal Labor. #nswpol

After two reviews and three reports, this is the state of the Sydney Trains network under Labor. Commuters were promised improvements—but instead, they’ve been sold a lemon.

“Local Government Minister Ron Hoenig’s justification for allegedly pressuring his most senior public servant to accelerate a tribunal matter involving a Labor mayor is at odds with evidence he provided to a parliamentary committee just six weeks earlier.” smh.com.au/politics/nsw/i…

Our bipartisan approach to planning law reform has produced dividends: the Planning System Reforms Bill has passed the Legislative Assembly. It will help to make our planning system faster, cheaper and simpler to produce more new homes - cutting red tape without cutting corners.
