Thrilled to share our collaborative work on the structural basis and myeloma disease link of the midnolin-proteasome pathway with Chris Nardone from the Elledge lab Stephen Elledge, Jingjing Gao from the Shao lab Susan Shao and all the co-authors! biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
While working on midnolin, the Susan Shao serendipitously solved a beautiful high-resolution structure of TXNL1 bound to the proteasome. We also show that oxidative stress caused by certain metal/metalloids leads to TXNL1 ubiquitin-independent degradation. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
Great study from Chris Nardone from Rapoport Lab on organelle pH regulation! He characterized a super cool complex that assembles v-ATPase. Congratulations 🎊🍾🥳
Honored to be a Life Sciences Research Foundation fellow supported by @HHMINEWS. I’m deeply grateful to the foundation for believing in me. Exciting times ahead! lsrf.org/current-fellow…
Excited to share our latest work onll LZTR1 just published Science Magazine!! A wonderful multidisciplinary collaboration between Simanshu Dhirendra's lab and our lab that provides structural understanding on RAS substrate and nucleotide specificity, and effect of mutations in LZTR1.
Congratulations to Milen Negasi, a researcher in the Xin Gu lab at Dana-Farber, who has been named to the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation Scholars Program for Advancing Research and Knowledge (SPARK). The one-year cancer research internship is awarded to post-baccalaureate scholars.
Incredibly proud to host Milen in my lab as a Damon Runyon SPARK fellow! Thank you Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation for your generous support. It means so much for the young generation of scientists.
