In 2024 Ukraine will continue to erode Russia military. This will eventually lead to a failed offensive and a staged retreat. There will be no ceasefire. China will change tact from Taiwan to taking parts of East Russia. Russian Federation will begin to dissolve. Trump will lose.

The West has gone for Russia. They need to look East and South and try to rebuild. They will never again be allowed a navy in Crimea. They can exist without fear of Western aggression but only if Ukraine is in NATO. The only question is how long it takes them to work this out.

WW3 started in Feb 2022 and like 1939 our pathetic leaders failed to stand up to evil. History will not be kind to them. But history also tells us that it’s not too late and that Russia probably won’t win. It’s time for new leaders to rise up and take their own place in history.

I tend to agree. Don’t think there’s much point looking past 2025 for tanks. Tanks at front are now probably closer to 500 than 1000 and dropping monthly.

To put it in perspective three years into WW2 Germany had fully conquered 9 countries. Russia has managed to gain little more than 10% of Ukraine since 2022, not a single city has fallen and it doesn’t have full control over its own borders.

This is rubbish and misleading propaganda. US is a balanced economy and has a huge services surplus with most countries. To provide an accurate analysis you need to include the services surplus which is not given in any of these woe is me commentaries.

Trump’s obsession with a Nobel Peace prize is not ego related. He sees it as a key instrument that legitimises his goal of tearing down the constitution and eradicating the role of congress and the judiciary. Perhaps even the key cog for his plan to turn US into his own fiefdom.
