Top-dressing sand starting to settle a little bit. Re-growth is a lot farther along than I thought it would be after 2 days. Little rain tonight to settle it a little more and wash more of the fertilizer in. I can’t wait to see the growth in a few more days! #puttinggreenloading

My soon to be Bermuda grass green absolutely took off! These two photos are 12 days apart. Mowed it with a real mower at a .25 of an inch today. Couple of 100 degree days on tap here in Colorado. Should start really feeling in. #mowingeveryday

Made it through another stage build with minimal weather issues. Metallica first of two shows tonight. Wrapping up Sunday night for our 5th concert in 4 weeks. #BusyJune

No earlier morning for me this show. Tear down is moving right along. Should be an empty floor early evening. Five shows in four weeks was no easy task. Empower Field at Mile High staff did a tremendous job through hot days and long nights. I hope everyone enjoys a month of R&R.

A little post 4th of July spray app. Finally got it under a growth regulator. Thanks to Travis Hogan for the help on rates. .25 lb of N this afternoon and then bring on the heat. Have a great Sunday everyone!

As we start our last concert of the summer. 48 hours from now we should be sod ready. Green Valley Turf Co has done an amazing job, preparing us for success. By the end of day Wednesday this Kentucky Bluegrass will have new home. #allmosttofootballseason

We are so proud of our student leaders who have volunteered their time to maintain our facilities and help out in our community. We are eternally grateful for their dedication to our success and are excited to have them back in the classroom in a couple weeks.

The Calvary has arrived!! Green Valley Turf Co will install 308 rolls of sod today. Finish up with another 132 rolls tomorrow and should be wrapped up around lunch.

Today was amazing. Green Valley Turf Co absolutely killed it today. Even in the heat they installed 330 rolls of sod before 3 PM. Back at it tomorrow at 4:30 AM. Few more rolls and we will have our field back. #footballisback

The quickest sod install we have ever had. After 13 hours, all 2 acres are ready for football. All of the planning over the last couple of months made this project run smooth. Huge shout out to my crew for the hot long days. We couldn’t have done it without Green Valley Turf Co .
