Mixed feelings today saying goodbye to 3 amazing young musicians I have had the pleasure to teach since year 3 almost 11 years. Sad I won’t have another lesson with them but happy to have seen them grow as musicians and people. Good luck for the future. Bassaleg Music and Drama

Magnificent final concert in Griffin Hall tonight all groups on top form wind band was on fire. Sad to never hear that Bassaleg School sound in there again but looking forward to next year in the new build. New memories to make. Good luck year 13 you have been inspirational.

Great first week back teaching so far Gwent Music 9 new starters and lovely to hear the work my existing students have put in over the summer(not many valves to oil). Looking forward to a busy Friday and first Gwent Brass Band Rehearsal Saturday afternoon.

Great day. Everyone performed superbly.

Fantastic 2nd rehearsal with Gwent Brass Ensemble. The group is really gelling together well. They loved prismatic light and pulsar with a few Welsh hymns and song without words. Even more impressive after their morning rehearsals too. Well done all.

Great show tonight Bassaleg Music and Drama Bassaleg School students are a credit. So much talent on and off stage directed expertly by Mr. Keates et all. Well done all.
