Teachers are NOT “happy” that states are announcing that we will not be returning to school this year. Our summer doesn’t start sooner. In fact, we are working harder and more hours now than we would if we did go back. We just care more about our students and their health.

Yes, like we've said before: Bringing thousands of children together in school buildings without proper testing, tracing, and social isolation is dangerous and could cost lives. We are listening to the health experts and educators on how and when to reopen schools.
