Out of Africa: the journey of the #Mauritiinae #palm from #Africa to the #Amazon, where it now is a #hyperdominant endemic. Inspiring collaboration with Nicolas Chazot and team | Biology Letters royalsocietypublishing.org/doi/10.1098/rs…
New paper! When we metabarcode a bottle of arthropods, we get a lot of sequences. But in many regions most species have not been barcoded before, so there is nothing to match to and we find unknown species. Then what? Introducing BayesANT: besjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/20…
New paper out with Jens Svenning with where we find that climate warming and habitat conversion have had synergistic effects on biodiversity change, both in terms of which species have done worse, and which have done better over the past 60 years. doi.org/10.1038/s41467…
