This Spring, 94 schools across the state are starting up their first-ever Minnesota State High School League sanctioned boys volleyball season. The first full week of games tips off tonight. Champlin Park is one of those 94, led by a familiar face who won a state title with Champlin Park in 2018.

A tale as old as time – Minnesota high school spring sports stuck indoors because of March/April snow. Mother Nature won’t stop WayzataTennis from working towards a hopeful state title 3-peat in Class 2A. Full story in the link below.

The TG Eagle Baseball team won their school’s first ever state championship in 2024. Now the Eagles are eyeing a repeat this spring. The Eagles are ranked first in the state in class AAA and opened their season with a 5-2 win over Anoka. ccxmedia.org/sports/totino-…

Wayzata boys lacrosse is preseason ranked 8th in the state. The Trojans earned a 13-2 win in their season opener at Champlin Park. Hat tricks from both Ryder Alstead and Bennet Brown. Cullen Britz and Thor Soukup combined for five assists. Wayzata Trojans Wayzata.com CCX Sports

There’s a hoops pipeline from the west metro to Grand Forks. London Harris signed her commitment to North Dakota this morning. She joins her Hopkins teammate Lauren Hillesheim. Anthony smith lll also signed to UND, joining his AAU teammates, Marley & Micah Curtis from St. Louis Park.

A solo home run from Tyler Hand in the bottom of the 4th sparked a rally in TG Eagle Baseball’s 5-4 win over Osseo yesterday. The Eagles scored four unanswered runs and held the Orioles scoreless in the final four innings. T-G now 6-2 on the season with a 5-2 record in the NWSC.

Two team state titles, a broken ankle, and a state runner-up individual finish are all parts of Aaron Beduhn’s journey at WayzataTennis. Five weeks remain in Beduhn’s high school career, then it’s off to the University of Denver. Full feature: youtu.be/rwnf2TnHdZ0?si…



A big first inning yesterday from the bats of Tommy Heifort and Tyler Hand led TG Eagle Baseball to their third straight win, knocking off Maple Grove on the road, 4-1. Kellan Westphal and Joe McGeary combined for five k’s and only allowed five hits in seven innings pitched.

Last June in a monsoon, BSM Boys Lacrosse beat Lakeville North to win their program’s sixth state title. Tonight in another monsoon, the Red Knights defeated the Panthers, 11-9. BSM is now 5-0 and ranked first in the state. Jack Anderson and Griffin Elliott combined for seven goals.

Statement win today by Wayzata Trojans Baseball. Trojans hand Blaine (#6 4A) their second loss of the year. Adam Deselich was clutch, game-tying RBI double & walk-off RBI single in the 8th. Kyle Boutwell’s home run in the 4th sparked four unanswered runs. Trojans have won four in-a-row.
