Them thinking people would get tired of demogorgons because Sorcerer was so climactic... Yeah as an episode. As a bigger part of a series, it felt like you were setting up Will to actually fight more demos.

The time skip should've either been non-existent, 6 months or a lot longer than what we ended up getting. Any of these could've worked with good writing, 18 months is just such an awkward time frame.
