Yesterday evening, I submitted my letter of resignation to President Kushner. Although I only served as DNI for half of his term, I feel I have accomplished all that I set out to do with the resolution of the issues with Russia. Now, it is time for me to settle back into life…

…as a private citizen. I will, however, remain until the end of the week. I thank President Kushner for the opportunity; his faith and trust in choosing me to lead the nation’s intelligence community, and I hope I fulfilled, if not surpassed, his expectations.

I wish him, and the rest of the cabinet, all the best for the future. Thank you.

With all the recent drama, I figure it’s about time I make everything clear now that I’m actually aware of what’s going on and the accusations against me. I had nothing to do with the terrible incident that occurred in Paleto Bay. I am not entirely sure what happened…

…but, I’ve been made aware that it was in fact Chambers tech that was involved, which is why I was immediately implicated, despite being in Venturas with a friend. In light of this, however, I’ve had Madeline open an investigation into the events and possible causes.

Although I can’t say much because of the ongoing legal proceedings, the working theory right now is that some of our technology was stolen and used in this tragedy. Worry not, Chambers International and myself are cooperating entirely with authorities and are committed to…
