Beautiful day to celebrate Earth Week! Students are hard at work creating their sidewalk masterpieces!

Rain couldn’t stop our stride! Girls on the Run crushed their practice 5K indoors with determination and heart. Proud of their hard work and can’t wait to see them shine on race day!

Baxter was rocking a special bandana that said, “I wear pink for my mom,” in support of Debra Galey as she continues her brave battle with breast cancer. Please keep Debra and her family in your thoughts and prayers. Her strength and dedication are truly inspiring.

Thanks to the City of Greendale for hosting our CES 5th graders for the Arbor Day celebration! A great day learning about nature, community, and the importance of trees. Congrats to all the winners of the poster contest and a special shoutout to Marina Rico, our overall winner!

Well, this is a first! It’s not uncommon for students to bring in birthday treats for their classmates—but Reese took it up a notch! Donuts for the class and coffee for the staff! Happy birthday, Reese, and thanks for the sweet surprise and caffeinated kindness!

Garden Club Update! We got our hands dirty and made big progress! Peas, radishes, carrots, zucchini, cucumbers, broccoli, and flower seeds are officially in the ground. And just wait until you see our strawberries—they’re shaping up to be a bumper crop! Still more to plant!

Students gather after school for fun, fellowship, and faith-based lessons through the Good News Club. It’s filled with songs, games, Bible stories, and positive messages that help kids grow in kindness, respect, and character. We’re thankful for the volunteers who make it happen!

Code Club allows learning new coding skills, solving problems, creating projects, and collaborating with their peers each week. From basic programming to creative challenges, they expanded their tech knowledge and had a blast doing it! Thanks Mrs. Hanneken for sponsoring the club

Thanks to everyone who came out to Fine Arts Family Night! It was a fun evening filled with student art and performances, poems, archery, origami, rock painting, and more. We loved seeing families explore and enjoy all the creative stations.

It’s amazing the impact Baxter has on students and staff, helping everyone start the day with positivity and joy. Therapy dogs like Baxter reduce stress, boost mood, and create a welcoming, supportive environment for all. We’re so lucky to have him as part of our school family!

A big thank you to Lawrenceburg PTO for kicking off our Willy Wonka Teacher Appreciation Adventure in the sweetest way! The chocolate fountain was absolutely delicious!

We had seven amazing nominees for the Marge Wells prestigious honor: Julia Bondurant, Kendall Heard, Elisah Humphry, Ava Kirschbaum, Luna Kinnett, Adeline Wood, David Yang. We are so proud of all our nominees for being leaders in their class. Congrats to winner Julia Bondurant!

Our PTO is at it again! They are always planning creative and thoughtful activities that make Staff Appreciation so much fun! A favorite highlight is always Brew Stir & Pour coffee to kick off our day.

Baxter had a special surprise today! He brought his human sister home from IU to visit! Our students loved having an extra friend in the classrooms. Thanks for making it an extra special day!
