🧵🪡 Yesterday evening a balcony collapsed in onto the street in my apartment building, just 4 years after construction. The building, whose freeholder is Barking & Dagenham Council, was constructed by Bouygues UK on behalf of Barking and Dagenham Council ‘s social and affordable housing
Hey! tunde akinyooye, a Lambeth Council-owned home on our estate's being rented out on Booking.com as a Bed & Breakfast. Could you pls manage CH's housing stock? From housing the homeless to housing homeless tourists, @homesforlambeth is showing its true colours.
I am becoming aware of potentially 100s of people being evicted by Lambeth Council and being made homeless with limited notice and no relevant EqIA or justification. We need answers urgently. Gipsy Hill Labour councillors had no answers last night. Bayo Dosunmu Claire Holland
This story deserves to be on the front of South London Press the distress it has caused is huge. When councils make decisions they are supposed to assess impacts and consult. There has been no comms, no explanation and seemingly no justification for forcing people out. Thx Claudia.
Resident engagement reset? What a joke!!! The so called „Trinity Rise“ development is actually part of Cressingham Gardens, but apparently not and still going ahead. Lambeth Council says it now listening to residents - but actions show otherwise!!!
Totally agree. We're told it's back to square 1 but Central Hill is still on the brownfield register & under section 20, Major Works. No-one can buy on to or sell a home here. Tenants are not given secure tenancies & there's no bidding on to CH. What is Lambeth Council up to?
It seems you're not facing demolition... ...until Lambeth Council decide you are! Look at South Lambeth Estate: "We're back to the drawing board. Oh, no we're not. We're going ahead with building a 16-storey tower of market flats."
Would like to see someone from #Lambeth explain this away Pete Elliott The Log Lady JA Cobb
Shocking mould conditions that people are made to live in because of Lambeth Council 's inactivity and neglect.
Increasing homelessness is also an achievement of your Lambeth Labour council in your constituency who have wasted £100s of millions emptying homes. You can't just blame the Tories when #labour are neglecting, emptying and demolishing homes and communities. #VoteGreen
Lambeth Council this is the issue we are seeing. Especially on this corner of St Gothards Rd, SE27 regularly. Going to 2/52 collections, but surely these kerb side bins need assessing. Clean up our streets- mice/rats more visible!! #bins #KeepStreetClean
