“In my few hours of sleep that night, I dreamt of a bruised sky lit up red-violet-white and of burnt, shrunken limbs tracing ghostly patterns in radioactive ash.” - 🌙Tiff Lush, beautiful CNF in Claudine: A Literary Magazine. Please, read!! claudineliterary.net/tiffmzlee

I’ve got a question for lit mags I think Becky Tuch might be interested in spreading. When a non-paying magazine finally becomes a paying market, does this change affect their acceptance rate? Do they have to make the tough decision of accepting a smaller number of stories?

An absolute gem just dropped in The Forge. So rich with feeling and so ripe with vivid imagery. The kind of story that breathes confidence and precision. Please read “The Source of Love” by the amazing Brecht De Poortere! A well-crafted story. forgelitmag.com/2025/09/08/the…

Woke up this morning to a rejection mail. But hey, I also received another mail telling me a story I wrote had been published in The Kalahari Review. If you’ve got some time on your hands, you can read “Awakening” here: kalaharireview.com/awakening-33a6…

I like quiet people. People who are simple, read books, can watch a 2 hour documentary about bees, are crazy smart, but still stay low-key and private.
