This week the Roar Team are in Valencia!🎶 We'll be working with 300 young Spanish singers, culminating in a performance of Vivaldi's Gloria alongside our Gabrieli singers and the Orquesta de Valencia. This is our first international Roar engagement and we can't wait! 🥳

Concert time this evening! Hugely enjoyable week Palau de la Música with very fine Orquesta Valencia,Emily Dickens, Charles Béquignon-MacDougall, Gabrieli and 250 wonderful young Valencian singers who sound really fabulous. Roar's first international collaboration and huge joy all round!

The week culminated in a performance of Vivaldi's Gloria, with the young singers joined by the Gabrieli Consort and the Orquesta de València. The Gabrieli Consort opened with Handel’s Dixit Dominus and collectively we sang a special encore of Bach’s Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring

This collaboration was a fantastic celebration of shared musical excellence, and we’re grateful to our partners at Palau de la Música for their welcome, warmth and dedication to the project. We hope this marks the beginning of many future projects together! 📸Palau de la Música
