Cavaliers 3-9 Mellor Reserves ⚽️ Joe Parker x 2, Ashley Sherlock Not as bad as it looks. Made an awful start and went 0-5 down before mounting a comeback to make it 3-5 in the 1st min of the 2nd half before running out of steam. A much better performance, so something to work on.

Cavaliers 0-3 Old Stretford Gregs (HT 0-1) A much improved performance with pretty much a new squad. We have rebuilt the team over the last few weeks after a poor start and had 9 debutants today. Not enough chances created, but solid everywhere else.

Hillgate 13-2 Cavaliers (HT 6-0) ⚽️Kalem Wiles, Sanad Hamza Hugely disappointing after last week. Poor across the pitch. 2 down in just 3 minutes set the tone and we never recovered. Only positive is at least we scored.

Konger A-A Cavaliers (3-1 at HT) Match abandoned at HT today after the ref sent off one of their players for dissent and it kicked off with the home team. Ref felt threatened and called it off. Comeback was on versus 10 men but we will see if we get the points later down the line

Cavaliers 1-7 Abacus Media Res (HT 1-2) ⚽️Matthew Hensman First game in 6 weeks. An alright first half and we were well in the game with plenty of chances. Unfortunately we stopped playing in the second half, not helped by sin binings reducing us to 10 men for long periods.

South Manchester 5-3 Cavaliers (HT 2-1) ⚽️Connor Carrington x2, Jack Caveney Came from 2-0 down to lead 3-2 with 25 to play, but couldn't secure the win in this cup match. Disappointing, but the best performance of the season so far.

Cavaliers 4-4 Rushford Park Res (HT 4-3) ⚽️Jack Caveney x2, Edwin Carcamo, Connor Carrington Went 0-3 down in this friendly though our own mistakes, but rallied to lead before HT. Couldn't add to the score so had to settle for a draw.

Cavaliers 5-7 Didsbury (HT 1-4) ⚽️Kalem Wiles x3, Jack Caveney x2 (1 Pen) An eventful game. Kept getting withing 1 goal after the visitors had a player sent off after we made it 2-4, but couldn't draw level. Scores: 0-1, 0-2, 1-2, 1-3, 1-4, 2-4, 3-4, 3-5, 4-5, 4-6, 5-6, 5-7.

Cavaliers 3-4 Spurley Hey (HT 2-3) ⚽️Caylem Bateson x2, Kalem Wiles A close game in this friendly. Took the lead and went 2-1 up before we became a bit lax and fell behind. Made a game of it with our third, but no equaliser today despite a few chances.

Cavaliers 3-9 Salford United (HT 1-4) ⚽️Mike Young, Kalem Wiles, Edwin Carcamo Friendly result. Poor finish to both halves. Levelled at 1-1 then gave away 3 before HT. 2-2 in the 2nd before the same thing happened, conceding 3 in the last 15. At least we are scoring regularly.

Cavaliers 2-3 Konger (2-2 HT) ⚽️ Jack Cavaney x 2 Went 2-0 up inside 15 minutes but let the lead slip before half time. Conceded 20 seconds into the second half, but both teams cancelled each other out for the remainder of the match. Disappointing result, but an improvement.

Konger 8-0 Cavaliers (HT 3-0) A poor display having ran this team very close two weeks ago. A patched up team and a bare 11 didn't help. We had chances in the first half, but a lot of the goals came from our own mistakes.

Tintwistle Athletic Res 4-3 Cavaliers (HT 1-2) Went 2-0 up and had a great chance to make it 3 with a 1v1 that could have killed the game. Home teams 3rd didn't cross the line after a great double save by our GK but goal given. We make it 4-3 and hit the post in the last minute.
