Why the name “Calypso”? Sunita Williams named the #Starliner spacecraft “Calypso” for her love of the ocean and in reference to the ship of famed explorer Jacques Cousteau, who sailed across the world on his own ship named bearing the same name. Learn more: go.nasa.gov/3yeiPJr
The perseverance and grit of Boeing Space on full display today as the team overcame challenges to take the #Starliner to docking with International Space Station. There are now 3 different crewed, and 3 additional uncrewed spacecraft attached to ISS. (Need a bigger parking lot?)
