Yeah, and on Route 78 sometimes the drones fly so close to the ground you can see into their windows and stare at the people staring back at you! It's totally wild!! 🤡

This, to me, is the same as making showtunes-singing lions look like REAL LIONS. No, I for one never wanted this. Just...no. nytimes.com/2024/12/26/art…

Today's NYT op-ed, wherein Chris Hayes says some important things about the media ecology and Trump's electoral victories that I've personally thought to be true FOR YEARS. Give it a read. nytimes.com/2025/01/03/opi…

OMG, what amazing research! The mold growing on their cheeses spontaneously mutated from a wild-type green to white. Why? For the same reason cave-dwelling animals lose their pigmentation: You don't need sunblock when you live exclusively in the dark. cell.com/current-biolog…

Twenty+ years and half a lifetime ago, I was all alone in my adoration of the Berserk manga by Kentaro Miura. Now they stock the omnibus edition in the nearest Walmart. And if it doesn't seem that surprising, it just goes to show how much US cultural expectations have shifted.
