Had a really great night last night reminiscing with members of Huckyduck CC and guests as the club celebrated their 40th year in carnival.

Whilst everyone else was at Glasto, I attended the first of the South Devon summer carnivals. An excellent start for our smallest circuit.

The 2017 Illuminated Carnival season starts today with carnivals at Stur in Dorset and Seaton in East Devon. Best wishes to all involved.

Despite being behind with the cart build Masqueraders were still in playful mood when I visited their shed.

Carnivals tomorrow night are at Mere, Wiltshire (Wessex Circuit), Axminster, Devon (East Devon Circuit) and Barnstaple, North Devon.

Really strong and powerful performances at yesterday's Carnival Concert dress rehearsal. Congratulations to all a fantastic show once again.

Congratulations to Griffens who lost sound halfway through their concert show tonight, but carried on regardless and sang their hearts out.

Despite the adverese conditions, Taunton Carnival tonight was a great success including a good sized crowd. Congratulations to all involved.
