On this day the daughters of St. Teresa throughout the world chant the Te Deum, praising and thanking God that He gave this gift to the Church. We rejoice to be a small part of this praying heart of the Church. Deo Gratias!

#StFrancis, lover of all God's beautiful #creation, they tell us that billions of birds have disappeared from the earth. Not even a little sparrow fell and our Heavenly Father knew. Pray for us, Little Poor Man. What would this world be without the song of birds praising God?

Here are words from St. Teresa for our dark times. Seems we all are being called to spend #Lent in the desert of our days. Come apart for awhile and set up a little oratory in our homes, in our hearts. Fear not! Have faith. "Who has God lacks nothing." #Pray for each other.

We join our Carmelite sisters in GB, commending to you these words of St. John of the Cross. May he guide us through this dark night the world is in now.

“This illness is not to end in death, but is for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.” [Jn. 11: 4] #Corvid19 is calling a world that has left God to return to Him Who is Love. We must do #penance. O God, be merciful to me a sinner! #Mercy

Something strange is happening--there is a great silence on earth today, a great silence and stillness. Strange indeed, like no other #HolySaturday ever seen. The whole earth watches and waits. #Death turns to #Life. He will arise.

Our days of preparation for the feast of #OurLadyofMtCarmel are taking place in our empty chapel this year. Thus, during the novena, her statue is in the sanctuary, facing the nuns' oratory. All the many intentions of the Church and the world are laid at her feet. Pray for us!

Once, it is said, #StTeresa was surprised to meet a little child in the monastery halls. He asked her who she was and she replied, "I am Teresa of Jesus." "And who are you?" she asked. His answer speaks to each of us in our hearts. "I am Jesus of Teresa."

#Christmas Joy All! “Mine are the heavens and mine is the earth. Mine are the nations, the just are mine, and mine the sinners. The angels are mine, and the #MotherofGod, and all things are mine; and God himself is mine and for me, because #Christ is mine and all for me." O Baby!

Ash Wednesday and we begin our trek into the desert with the Lord. Like him we fast, not just from food but from all that feeds our greed, our lack of love. Hungry? "If only you knew the gift of God, you would ask and He would give you bread from heaven, living water."

#Beauty is truth. #Truth is all that is real. When we lose our sense of truth we lose our sense of God, for we only find God in the Real. Pray with us that our following of Christ Who is Truth will set us free in the beauty of God, ever adoring the Father in spirit and truth.

Hunger and thirst for the ##Eucharist during the long Lent of the #Pandemic shutdown have shown us our deep need for God. "Blessed are they who know. their need of God!" Come! Come to the fountain of #life!
