Proud to attend the Pass Out Ceremony for the 48 new apprentice firefighters from course 03/24. They will pick up their watches all over the Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service area over the next few weeks and then their careers become a reality. #Firefighters

Today I met one of my original recruit instructors (bottom right) from 29 years ago, Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service otherwise known as "Bendy Butler" Still going strong and drawing his pension at 82. 👏

That was a busy #DutyWeekend Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service with 15 incidents, 5 mentoring jobs and a #NoNotice exercise thrown in for good measure. Now for a few days off. Might have a couple of these tonight.
