Stupid brain. It woke me up at 2 a.m., thinking about stupid stuff. Could not get back to sleep. I'll be functioning on about 4 hours sleep today.

Today my brain did me favor. Instead of waking me up at 2 a.m. with stupid thoughts, it waited until 4:30 a.m. and actually gave me something I can use--a way to handle a section I need to add in the nonfiction book I'm writing.

My days are all mixed up. I keep thinking today is Friday. It's Thursday. I hope I don't do anything stupid because I keep thinking it's a different day.
