Hope pouted at Carlos and placed a tiny hand on his shoulder. "You're probably celebrating it all wrong."

Hope clapped her hands at Carlos before withdrawing a bottle of syrup and drinking some.

"We elves stick to the four food groups. Candy, candy canes, candy corn, and syrup." Carlos

"Stop being so difficult, Carlos."

Hope flashed a shy smile in Carlos's direction, biting down softly on her lower lip.

Hope draped an arm around Carlos and rubbed his arm comfortingly. "Show him around/" said Buddy.
