My role U.S. Department of Energy is to ensure that bureaucracy does not hinder private enterprise collaboration with our National Labs. This is how we kick off AI and energy development that will commence the greatest innovation the world has ever seen.

Welcome U.S. Department of Energy’s Secretary Chris Wright to Fermilab! We'll be sharing highlights from Secretary Wright's visit to America's premier particle physics and accelerator laboratory where experts from around the world work to solve the mysteries of matter, energy, space and time!

U.S. Department of Energy Secretary Chris Wright .U.S. Department of Energy’s Secretary Chris Wright is touring the Main Injector which produces the world's most powerful high-energy neutrino beam! PIP-II Accelerator Project will enhance the capabilities of our complex for Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment. LBNF

Grateful to Secretary Chris Wright and U.S. Department of Energy for visiting our quantum networking & comms labs Fermilab Caltech NASA JPL #INQNET today. Great discussions on advancing quantum technologies using also approaches and innovations from our particle accelerator-based experiments. Thank

U.S. Department of Energy Secretary Chris Wright .Secretary Chris Wright signed one of the cryomodules for PIP-II! PIP-II Accelerator Project is an essential enhancement to the Fermilab accelerator complex, powering the world’s most intense high-energy neutrino beam on its journey to Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment at SanfordLab in South Dakota.

U.S. Department of Energy Secretary Chris Wright Fermilab is leading the U.S. upgrade effort for CERN's LHC. Secretary Chris Wright saw one of the record-setting magnets that will be the first of its kind to operate in a particle accelerator. The magnets will enable the upgraded LHC to provide 10x the current number of collisions.

U.S. Department of Energy Secretary Chris Wright From operation of particle accelerators to analyzing data captured in detectors to sweeping surveys of the cosmos to quantum simulations, Secretary Chris Wright discusses how AI research plays an important role in every aspect of high-energy physics.

Excellent keynote lecture closing the first day of #ml4jets2025 @caltech by Prof. Prof. Anima Anandkumar 👏🏽 👏🏽

RIP Herwig Schopper, CERN director general from 1973 to 1976. He made LEP possible, and thus also the LHC. Not so long ago I worked with him on a book about the scientific discoveries at CERN. Read the interview in the CERN courier on the lessons from LEP cerncourier.com/a/lessons-from…
