Every one is gearing up for LTCFC’s party of the year at the Grosvenor House Hotel. Cab drivers have been working tirelessly to make sure the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party brings joy & happiness to everyone in attendance.

Founded by the proprietor of the Globe newspaper Capt George Armstrong (later the Baronet, Sir George) in January 1875, the Cabmen's Shelter Fund opened with great ceremony its first Shelter on Acacia Road, St John's Wood on this day one hundred and fifty years ago, 6th Feb 1875.

Wonderful visit and great to talk with Sir Stephen Fry at Wellington Place Taxi Shelter as part of the 150th anniversary celebrations. Cabmens Shelter Fund thanks Jamie The Cabby & thanks to Andrey for hospitality and Phil Brown for his wonderful knowledge of the Shelter history.
