For scholars of modern art in the Maghrib, Tunis is a brilliant place for research! CEMAT affiliated researchers work on École de Tunis artist Jellal Ben Abdallah's oeuvre, which includes miniature painting and monument design. His house can be visited in Sidi Bou Said.
