St. Joachim DPCDSB students were outside today cleaning up our neighbourhood. We could not believe the amount of litter we found outside 4 bags collected by these two amazing classes. Keep up the great work Mme Molinaro, Mme DiTosto and Ms Pereira’s classes! EcoSchools Canada

Today ss in Ms K’s Grade 1 class learned about the importance of plants. They had great things to share. They then reused plastic water bottles, small rocks & planted native plant seeds and some vegetable seeds to share with their families. EcoSchools Canada St. Joachim DPCDSB

Mme Mattei’s Grade 3 FI class were learning about taking care of God’s Creations. They then used air dry clay to create plants and animals.

Mme Molinaro’s Grade 5 FI students started table top drumming today. They are pretty awesome!! 👏 After we learn a bit more about techniques and musical notation students will be mapping out their own musical drumming song! 🎵

Such a beautiful starting liturgy for Catholic Education Week. Our YFAs did wonderful reading and the choir sounds angelic.

Our FDK students have been learning so much about plants, what they need to grow and the parts of plants! We are so excited with their excitement in learning about living things.
