A fantastic day with 86 amazing historians, from North Durham Academy ,for our ‘Celebrating Stanley’ programme, Karbon Homes 💚👏 We looked at Stanley’s fascinating past & interviewed them about their future hopes & aspirations for town. They were an absolute credit to the school 👏

Beach cleaning up with the amazing children Christ Church Primary North Shields for our Stronger Shores project. 6 bin bags full of plastic waste - a shocking amount when the beach seemed fairly clean at first. Well done to everyone involved; something so simple can make a huge difference. 👏👏

A single piece of polystyrene = thousands of microplastics in the ocean. Microplastics that become part of the ecosystem and harm marine life. So if you see a piece of polystyrene on the coastline, pick it up and you will save the planet from thousands of microplastics.

The Tow Law Eco-Ambassadors have been working with MammalWeb & Durham University recording wildlife surrounding their school. Can you see the Hedgehog? They did a brilliant job reporting their findings back to their peers. 💚💚👏👏 Energy Saving Trust for their kind support.
