Flying through Dulles Airport near D.C.? If you’re taking the Metro, expect to be awed by almost 40 recently installed images from #NASAWebb, paired with more than 30 from the ever-active Hubble, on your way to the main terminal: bit.ly/4qPfl7m #wmata 🔭 🧪

The President is confusing tariff revenues with investment plans Tariff revenues are paid by US importers (CBP shows $89B paid through mid-Sept) and would need to be returned. Investment plans from foreigners are separate and would not require repayment if abandoned.

Still showing confusion, and the number has changed from $2 trillion to $3 trillion. At least it’s down from the $17-$19 trillion the President was mentioning a couple weeks ago.

The study finds that tariffs lower inflation because they slow the economy and raise unemployment. In other words, exactly what you'd expect from a sizeable tax increase.

The study does not say tariffs lead to lower inflation btw. It says that historically tariffs have been associated with lower inflation as a result of causing the economy to slow and unemployment rate to rise. In other words tariffs lead to lower inflation by crushing the

What does Webb and NASA Mars’ Curiosity Rover have in common? They both help us explore worlds beyond Earth, teach us that great engineering feats are possible, and are both named in the 2025 TIME’s “Best Invention Hall of Fame”! science.nasa.gov/missions/webb/…

This is the largest planet-forming disc ever seen around a young star! 🥇 The disc, IRAS 23077+6707, spans nearly 640 billion km – that’s 40 times the diameter of our Solar System! Hubble has revealed it to be unusually chaotic, with bright wisps of material extending far beyond

It’s not Christmas Eve without Earthrise. This iconic photograph was taken on Dec. 24, 1968 astronaut Bill Anders as the Apollo 8 crew orbited the Moon. In 2026, four astronauts with NASA’s Artemis II mission will set out to venture around the Moon once again!

On Christmas Eve 1968, in Lunar orbit, the Apollo 8 crew took this photo: “Earthrise." I'll never forget how inspiring the Apollo missions were to my brother and me as kids. They showed us what our country and humanity can accomplish when we work together toward a common goal.

Swiftly flow the days: As we approach the end of one year and the beginning of another on Earth, the Curiosity rover paused to send a postcard from Mars. The image combines one panorama taken after sunrise and another taken before sunset.
