Sometimes the CoStar app reminds me not to be a shitty person. Turns out I was just cranky, tired, and hungry. (Still making questionable decisions. Just not choosing violence today 🙃)

Unpopular opinion among adoptees- Primal Wound is a good book. There were SO many dots that were connecting. I understood myself a lot better by the end of this book. I understand the argument against it, but sometimes you need an educated outside perspective.

Coworker is pregnant and weeks away from due date. My office has 5 women so naturally there’s lots of birth stories and photos right now. It’s dreadful. I don’t know my birth story or have photos from before I was adopted. It’s crazy how a portion of my life is just… gone.

I don't think you should be able to take other people's children away, put your own name as parent on their birth certificate, and never allow the child to know their natural family. & I have an infinitely deep well of anger because of the fact that this opinion is unpopular.
