Maximizing revenue and minimizing variance are conflicting constraints. Can you come up with a hybrid tx selection constraint that does a reasonable job at both?

We support core and will follow their decisions and try to avoid a tx selection war. This decision requires us to do more engineering, but it's not insurmountable. The people working on Bitcoin core are the most experienced, dedicated, and smartest engineers we have.

Braidpool endorses this statement. Tx relay filters don't prevent txs from being mined, but do cause blocks to be slower to verify while nodes download missing txs. Filtooring/Knots is a net negative for the network and these devs made the right choice x.com/rodarmor/statu…
