GordonGoner (Wylie Aronow) 🍌 We made the first (and perhaps only) on chain royalty sharing system hardcoded in our Bored Punk Yacht Club collection’s smart contract developed by the one & only foobar/ last August. The contract automatically splits all the funds sent to it & redistributes them between token holders.

While many derivative collections are getting verified badges, Its been 2 weeks since OpenSea has delisted our collection & deleted our deployer account without any notice. This is the ONLY answer we got from OS & they haven’t answered any of our tickets/emails ever since! Why?

A year ago today, We launched Bored Punk Yacht Club as a homage to CryptoPunks and BoredApeYC, and thus began a journey of knowing amazing people who believed in the culture and considered communities the best thing on the internet Thank you to everyone who’s been on this journey with us

Kix Yes sir. Fully on chain and hardcoded in the smart contract. (Developed last year by foobar/) All the funds sent to the contract get automatically split and redistributed between Bored Punk holders. (Funds could be royalties, % of community projects or anything else)

Interesting to see how it took 2 years for the NFT space to come up with what foobar/ had already implemented in our “Royalty sharing contract” for Bored Punk Yacht Club in 2021 A hardcoded automated system that splits the royalties between all minted tokens of the contract equally.
