Is there any way one can still make money in South Africa that is 1. Ethical 2. non-BEE compliant and 3. sufficient to ensure one will have enough to buy land and pursue self-sufficiency?

The most prominent lessons I've learnt in academia are how insufferable a vast majority of academics are, how crooked and fake the whole system is, and how I don't ever want to work in it. I will finish my degree and likely retreat to the blue collar sphere.

Call me a boomer, but I hate AI so far. Yes, I know that it can be used for good. But I'm tired of seeing slop in my timeline. It's allowed people to create low effort mediocre art, music, videos and memes; and plagiarize at universities. I think it needs to be heavily restricted

As happy I am that the ANC will be sanctioned, it's bittersweet to see that the main cause is their anti-Israel foreign policy, and not their human rights abuses at home, as if the latter isn't worse. Hopefully more sanctions for that reason will follow one day, God willing.

I genuinely believe that most minority people in South Africa would support some form of secessionist movement if it was an option. I think a broader movement to teach people how to build self-sufficient communities with the goal of secession is needed.
