Bob Smietana Keep reading Bob's reports on this subject: He's working his way through the many, many religious groups who are on the ground, doing everything they can do. Your non-political read of the day. @GetRe

"Worldbuilding" is so over-rated. Just tell a good story-- and things generally work out. No one wants an instruction manual--they want a story. screenrant.com/greta-gerwig-c…

I watched an advanced screening of the new film LEAP OF FAITH this week &I loved it. If you're on the left or right, Christian or not, it's a beautiful and challenging film. A breath of fresh air. It's showing in theaters in select cities this weekend. youtube.com/watch?v=4W8bvp…

Bob Smietana Yeah, I find it extraordinarily sus that people wait for teachers to tell them to read books. Also, why are these people being accepted to college?

Bob Smietana But that's precisely what I mean by an obvious and pretty short-looped correction mechanism. Obviously scientists have the ability to get stuff right. But the primary mechanism for doing so is not peer review, but "dammit, I thought that was gonna work but it didn't".
