This is absolutely HUGE NEWS! 🎉 HMO properties will only have to pay 1 lot of council tax. Previously for larger ensuite properties, many councils have banded each room seperately for tax, which has really hit the profits of many HMOs. I protested for this for years 🥂

More than a good idea, this is a must. Private building management companies are acting with impunity. Poor service and unexplained service charge hikes are more the rule than the exception. theguardian.com/society/2024/a…
