🚨State Qualifiers and new school record 🚨 These girlies got 2nd place in the 4x100 at Regionals and smashed the school record with a time of 49.96!

🚨State Qualifier 🚨 Kate Shockey finished 2nd in the 400 and ran a new PR of 57.82!

What an incredible night! It was a LOOOOOONG one but these kids stepped up! We should have many more qualifiers to celebrate but with the new qualifying standards, we won’t know for certain until tomorrow. Stay tuned…

🚨Double State Qualifier 🚨Ty Darting had himself a NIGHT at Regionals! Not only was he a part of the qualifying 4x1 but he also qualified in the 100 and the 200!

Senior Claire Vanderweide sets a javelin season PR with throw of 125’3”! The throw earned her a 5th place state medal! Gonna miss this senior leader next season. Good luck at Pitt State, Claire!

These incredible girls ALL competed in 4 events @ State. It was FILLED with adversity: a nagging hamstring, a heartbreaking 4x1, disappointing races & a 400 ran in only one shoe! They still medaled 7th in the 4x400. The best part: they’ll all be back next year! Sports in Kansas
