Day 3 of JLAB Nationals!! Blackman was honorably selected to represent all of JROTC JLAB to lay the wreath at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, with Cadet Ryah Albourab chosen to lead! The group also was given a tour of the Tomb, a once in a lifetime experience. #GoBlaze🔥

Last Day of JLAB Nationals!! Taking home a finalist plaque to conclude, Blackman JLAB is in the top 2% of all JROTC across the nation. Our JLAB team has worked vigorously, and we are very proud of their efforts! #GoBlaze🔥

The Blaze have been shown to continuously show their values, work ethic, and integrity for the community. Recently, cadets, parents, and faculty had spent their morning cleaning for the welcoming of students come August! #GoBlaze🔥

The Blackman Middle School Cheer completed a leadership and compatibility exercise with the Blackman Blaze Raider Team. They exercised team bonding, strength, and endurance, and pushed their limits, taking these new traits back home to the Embers! #GoBlaze🔥

Day 1-2 of ALWS! Blackman's Color Guard team is off to the American Legion World Series! Upon arriving, they have completed a total of 5 color guards, in addition to being acclimated in North Carolina. #GoBlaze🔥

First dress to impress of the year went great! Dress to impress allows cadets to demonstrate creativity while still looking professional and well-groomed. HHC led the way for other companies and were a great example of what dress to impress should look like. Keep it up! Go Blaze!

Today, the Blaze went on the annual Canoe Trip, traveling through Canoe the Candy in Silver Point, Tennessee. Cadets exercised teamwork, bonding, and most importantly balance on the canoes! #GoBlaze🔥
