Thank you to the dozen or so Republicans who had the integrity to reject Jim Jordan on the first ballot, despite massive pressure. Please stay the course and don’t waver.

Is there a better encapsulation of the GOP elected officials during the Trump years than Jim Jordan winning 194-25 GOP votes in the public ballot and then losing the majority by secret ballot?

I did it in 2020 - lost family/friends/coworkers and almost my job all for trying to do what was right, coming out against Trump. Change one person’s mind y’all - ONE person, by having the courage to speak out - and we’ll do it again. I changed my mind. You.Can.Too.

Let’s be clear: This is illegal and unconstitutional. The American people had voted. The courts had ruled. The Electoral College had met and voted. The Governor in every state had certified the results and sent a legal slate of electors to the Congress to be counted. The Vice

These people are heroes for charging the market clearing price for gasoline in the face of ignorant opprobrium from the masses. God bless 🫡

JD Vance is such a good example of how Donald Trump has corrupted our politics. On Earth 2, Vance would be a capable politician. But what we’re looking at right now is a talented guy who sold his soul, and sold out the country, to Trump and MAGA to become the VP nominee.

Well, he did. But only after giving it the old college try to avoid doing so. Incredible chutzpa. Like saying about a bank robber who got caught, "He didn't rob a bank, he peacefully gave the money back."

I was honored to join VP Harris in Ripon, WI, the birthplace of the Republican Party. Here are my full remarks explaining why I believe it is essential to vote for Kamala Harris to protect our freedom and our Constitutional system.

I am begging General Kelly to call a press conference and talk straight to the American people about all the things he saw and heard.

Example: Tom Cotton is arguably more hawkish than any Cheney but he remains in MAGA’s good graces because he’s maintained his Trump sycophancy

This, inter alia, is exactly why you want the Senate to consider each nomination on its own merits, rather than to preemptively disappear and give the executive branch carte blanche over all appointments.

1. I’d be open to impeaching judges for persistent bad-faith or wild rulings. Nothing remotely like that here. Indeed, from what I have seen, Judge Boasberg’s critics have yet to make a clear and compelling case that his order was wrong. 2. Impeachment threats are at best

Worth noting the Ed Whelan is far more conservative than me. We differ on many legal and policy issues, but agree here because it’s a basic rule of our legal system that cuts across party and ideological lines (or should).

At least 3 of the 5 Venezuelan plaintiffs allege that they are not members of the TdA gang. So even if Trump’s Alien Enemies Act proclamation is generally lawful (something that I am not convinced of), why shouldn’t these 3 be able to contest their deportation in federal court?
