Good news everyone! Mux Real-Time Video is now GA! mux.com/blog/real-time… Instead of letting Phil waffle about the product on Twitter, we thought we'd pop open the hood, and show you some of what the team have been working on for the last 6 months. A long 🧵…

Myself and Blake Gentry did what you should never do, and implemented a new open source job queue. Written in our favorite language (Go) on our favorite database (Postgres), it's been a lot of fun hacking on this on and off over the last few months. brandur.org/river

River (our Go Postgres queue) has been making a ton of progress in recent months ⚡️ Huge perf improvements, more great features, and production readiness: riverqueue.com/blog/river-2024 UI and more coming soon ✨

Since River UI shipped, lots of users have wanted to embed it as an http.Handler. But that's been tough given the frontend JS build pipeline. We solved this with a custom build setup & Go module proxy to distribute .zip modules (built for River Pro): riverqueue.com/blog/river-ui-…

Scared the life out of me at 4:50am because somebody injured a cop 6.5 hrs away in Texas. This is not an actual emergency to wake up the whole damn state over Texas Department of Public Safety. You will get people killed when they turn off alerts over this abuse of the system.

Great news! After years of litigation, millions of your taxpayer dollars spent, and irreparable harm done to the country, we reached an agreement with SEC staff to dismiss their litigation against Coinbase. Once approved by the Commission (which we're told to expect next week)

River Pro just gained concurrency limits, enabling fine grained control over queue concurrency—even on a per customer basis. Check it out or try the live demo ✨ riverqueue.com/blog/concurren…

I’m at GopherCon in NYC this week, reflecting on my first time attending in 2015 when they could thank all of Go’s contributors on two small pages. The community has grown so much since then. If you’re around, come find me to chat about River or just to say hi 👋🏻🗽

We used Astro for River's homepage, docs site, and customer portal—one of my favorite tech choices. It's such a great foundation for the new Stainless Docs Platform 🚀✨
