Meet Savannah Skye-Smith: I was always interested in art - it’s one of the best forms of expression. I am very happy and proud to represent the Six Nations community as an artist. I love sharing my passion, culture, and knowledge with people. I am glad to be a positive role model

Tomorrow, in honour of the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation we will be wearing orange. We do this in remembrance of the Canadian Residential School system and the impact of this government policy on First Nations.

Big thanks to my next door neighbour Randy for driving the 8’x 12’ mural to St. Mary's School. The mural project was a part of the 2024 Indigenous Art show where artist Michael Barber worked with about 100 students from BHNCDSB to create this stunning piece.
