A huge thank you to Aimhigher West Midlands, Birmingham City University &Mr Q Smith for providing a group of our Year 8s with an insightful look into AI; careers in computing and an opportunity to complete some coding with some University ambassadors as part of their girls in STEM focus - what a BHAmazing day!


A lovely morning in our community as part of DorothyParkes Centre’ monthly litter pick. A huge thank you to all of our BHAmazing students, their families&our staff who attended&to Mrs Herchak for organising it all. We hope to see our community on the first Saturday of every month.


We are very proud to have been recognised by The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award for the number of volunteering hours our students have completed as part of their bronze and silver awards. A huge well done to our BHAmazing students&thank you to Mrs Carpenter for all her hard work securing these opportunities!


A fantastic Forward Thinking launch event Uni of Birmingham yesterday, whereby our students learnt lots about Uni life and what their programme will look like over the next 4 years with an inspiring final speech from The Art of Brilliance - thank you!



Our continued partnership with In-Comm Training has allowed even more of our Year 7 students to enjoy a day learning about careers in engineering through their development of an F1 car! A huge thank you to the InComm team and Ms Cutler for her expert organisation! #careers


A huge thank you to Aimhigher West Midlands , Aston University and Birmingham City University for hosting a group of our KS3 students to learn more about University and the range of courses&extra-curricular activities on offer! Thank you to Mr Q Smith for providing our students with these oppportunities!




A huge thank you to Halesowen College and Sandwell College for hosting a group of our Year 10 students to see their facilities and learn more about what their colleges have to offer. Thank you very much to Miss Jones and Ms Sargant for organising these opportunities too!



A huge thank you to Aimhigher West Midlands and Aston University for hosting a group of our Y9 students for a STEM workshop, whereby our students learnt lots about CAD/CAM and lego robotics. The feedback from staff was exceptional and the email shows just how BHAmazing our students are!




We are so incredibly proud of Ben who was selected to compete in the West Midlands Speakers Trust #STSpeakOut final. Ben’s speech was absolutely phenomenal and we are so proud pf how confident and articulate he was throughout - well done!


A huge congratulations to all of our The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award students who were awarded their Bronze awards yesterday evening as part of our end of year family celebration! Thank you to Chris from West Midlands DofE for joining us and to Mrs Carpenter &the whole DofE team for all their hard work!


We are so proud of our Y7 students who visited Bleakhouse Library to deliver our second storytime session to the smallest members of our community! Students engaged 0-5 year olds with a brilliant book performance and selection of activities - well done! Sandwell Council


We are very proud to have partnered with Litter Watch who supported a group of our students to complete a community litter pick of our local roads and area. A massive thank you and well done to our students and to Mr Grainger for his expert organisation. #communitylinks


Thank you to Sandwell Council and SHAPE Sandwell for inviting a group of our students to their conference, they had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed engaging with so many local organisations! Thank you to Ms Edha and Mr Loftus for their excellent organisation too.


Thank you very much to Halesowen College for inviting our Year 9 students to watch their musical performance of ‘Legally Blonde’ - our students had a fantastic time and were very impressed with the talent on show. Thank you to Mrs Westwood for organising this opportunity too.
